UNTRIGGERED™ is a method I built out of lived experience and straight-up stubborn hope. It uses your own life story to shift the emotional patterns your nervous system still hangs onto. Not journaling for feelings. Not mindset work. Not “let’s cope forever.”
HOW IT WORKS
You take the stories that shaped you, open them up, look at what they meant back then, and rewrite the meaning so your body can finally respond like the danger is actually gone. When the story changes, the nervous system changes. And when the nervous system changes, your whole life opens up.
I pieced this method together from my background in storytelling, linguistics, rhetoric, mythology, Jungian psychology, and my obsessive love for neuroscience. I spent years being dismissed and told that anxiety and depression were things I’d have to manage forever. I refused that. I wanted answers, not coping skills. So I dug into the science of memory and realized something no one ever told us: emotional memories can be updated. Safety can be learned. The body can permanently reset. And story is one of the most powerful ways to get there.
UNTRIGGERED™ is the method I created when nothing else worked. I’m not a therapist and this isn’t medical treatment. I am someone who refused to accept that life could not get better than “controlling” the cycles of depression and anxiety. UNTRIGGERED™ is self-development for people who are tired of being told to “manage it” and want to actually transform it.
